Justin (Tank) Smith and JT Sayres met several years ago where Justin bartended and JT's band at the time (Taught By Heroes) performed on multiple occasions. Justin and JT became friends, and stayed in touch over the years. Fast-forward to 2021, when JT started playing solo at Pub Blue, Justin was there to book him. Justin sells Real Estate full time with JW Martin Homes, and has had a tremendous year in 2021. Make sure to call him for all of your Real Estate needs at (828) 421-2734
JT Sayres was first introduced to Keowee Brewing Co through his friend and fellow musician Trey Stephens. JT was looking for a new venue to perform at, and Trey gave him the contact information. Mark Winters (Owner of Pub Blue) gave JT a reference to Alex Butterbaugh (Owner of Keowee Brewing Co). JT has since played at Keowee Brewing Co multiple times with great turnouts. Alex and JT have since grown a good respect and friendship with one another.
The relationship between Pub Blue and JT Sayres is connected in many different ways. Mark Winters (Owner of Pub Blue) and JT first befriended each other around 2009, and have stayed in touch through the years. JT's first introduction was through fellow musician Jeremy Scruggs, who also recorded the album "Give It My Best" by JT's former band Taught By Heroes. Manager of Pub Blue, Justin "Tank" Smith first met at one of the Taught By Heroes shows at a venue that Justin bartended at. The relationship between JT Sayres and Pub Blue is probably the strongest of any other.
JT Sayres first performed at Palmetto Brothers Dispensary in Laurens, SC June 11th 2021. Not long after they first opened. JT fell in love with playing there. Wes Meetze (Owner of Palmetto Brothers Dispensary) and JT have forged a really good relationship, and have furthered that with Palmetto Brothers Dispensary sponsoring JT Sayres.
The relationship between the Dimas Brother's and JT Sayres goes back almost 25 years. JT Sayres and Evan Dimas met for the first time when they were 17 and 18 years of age. JT and Evan became best of friends alongside Chad Barnes, Derek Lusk, and Eric Lusk. JT, Evan, and Spiro Dimas have became family over the past 2 and 1/2 decades. JT supports Evan and Spiro in every business venture they take on. Always has, and always will. That's why it's such a great fit for The Dimas Brother's Cafe to do the same for JT Sayres.
Cody Chapman (3rd generation owner of Walhalla Shoe Shop) and JT Sayres have known each other for many years. Walhalla is JT's hometown. JT took Cody some boots, that he still wears, one day that he thought were beyond repair. Cody was able to bring them back to life, and looking better than ever. Cody has since been a huge supporter of JT Sayres and his music, just as much as JT has been a huge supporter of Cody's talents at Walhalla Shoe Shop.
W.A.V.Electrical is an electrical company that JT Sayres and his wife Julia were referred to when they bought thier first home in November of 2018. Jim Dougherty (Owner of W.A.V.Electrical) has done lots of great upgrades and add-ons to JT & Julia's home. JT and Julia have promoted and supported W.A.V.Electrical for several years now. It is so awesome that they are now doing the same for JT Sayres.
The relationship between Boneyard Cycles and JT Sayres links through Michael Fuji Carver. Fuji and JT became friends at least 20 years ago. It was no question when JT moved back to the upstate area and had motorcycle needs, that he went to Boneyard Cycles where Fuji manages. Boneyard has worked on JT's 2000 Harley Davidson Electraglide before, and will probably do so with any other motorcycle that he may ever own. JT has referred many people to Boneyard Cycles that have all left satisfied with their service. Whether it's purchasing a new to you motorcycle, or having service done to your current one, there's no other choice in the SC Upstate area than Boneyard Cycles in Anderson, SC.
